The Sheraton Skyline Hotel may be the airport chain hotel to end all airport chain hotels. While airport hotels are often a wholly functional experience, this may be a place to kick start your holiday with a bit of the party spirit.
The hotel has 350 rooms available in three options:
Classic rooms offer queen and king sized beds, complete with internet access and a 32” flat screen TV.
Family rooms offer two double beds and feature the same facilities as the classic room. Family rooms are suitable for up to four guests.
Club rooms are the hotels deluxe option, the room includes an additional sofa bed and access to the hotels club lounge and facilities.
However, if staying at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel, it not the rooms which are the major benefit but the Sky Garden. The Sky Garden is the hotel’s very own tropical themed pool, cocktail bar and restaurant rolled into one and offers guests the chance to eat drink and splash around between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00.
If poolside eating is not your thing, there are two other dinning options in the form of Bytes, which serves breakfast and lunch or try the hotel’s American style sports bar and grill.
Driving to the hotel? Parking is another major advantage, the hotel has its own car park with room for 327 cars, rates start from just £75 for a four day slot, longer stays are also available with 21 days starting at £110.
From a location perspective, the hotel is just 1.3 miles from the airport terminals and can be easily accessed via a free bus services just five minutes from the hotel. Alternatively one can make use of the Hoppa Bus operated by National Express (fee payable) or take a taxi for around £10.
